From May 21st to 25th, the charming island of Herøya in Steinsfjorden becomes a blank canvas, a shared space where creativity, connection, and co-creation take center stage. It’s not about what’s expected or planned; it’s about what unfolds when we all show up with our ideas, energy, and openness.

Vårlys isn’t something you attend—it’s something you help create. The framework is simple: a safe, supportive environment built on trust, participation, and the belief that magic happens when people come together in authenticity.

So, bring your whole presence, whatever that means. The rest? That’s entirely up to you!

What is Frostlys?

Frostlys hosts Burning Man-inspired, participatory events, predominantly at Herøya in Steinsfjorden. You are part of co-creating a magical weekend on an island in the majestic Norwegian landscape.

Frostlys events are based on the 10 principles of Burning Man. Everything you experience at the events are provided by other participants like yourselves. The organization does not operate with a profit, and all events are based on volunteer work.
